STRUCTURED, SELF-PACED TRAINING PROGRAM FOR ENTRY LEVEL DRIVERS Stage One – 0-3 months experience: “This stage is designed to teach basic driving skills, while educating the trainee in regards to Abilene Policies and Procedures.” Stage Two – 3-6 months experience: “This stage is designed to build driving stamina and evaluate abilities, habits, and team driving skills. Abilene Policies and Procedures will continue to be a point of emphasis.” Stage Three/Refresher– 6 – 11 months experience -OR- no experience in the Northeast and/or no recent driving experience: “This stage is designed to build high traffic and close quarters maneuvering skills.
