ABOUT OUR PROGRAM: Driving a truck requires a high level of responsibility and safety awareness. We provide both classroom presentations and hands-on experience to ensure that students are well-prepared for the job an entry-level position. The class leads to a Class A Commercial Driver's License, which is a requirement for driving certain types of commercial vehicles. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Call (815) 921-2076 to schedule a short orientation interview designed to answer your questions and bring awareness of the rewards and demands of a trucking career. You may register for the course after your interview. What can I do with this degree? Potential Careers & Wages This program is designed to prepare students for the CDL-A license. PROGRAM PATHWAYS: Students should meet with an Academic Advisor to develop a clear pathway leading to a seamless transfer experience or transition to the workforce.
